About
My name is Hannah Stubing and welcome to my passion, H-FIT.
I am based in the Adelaide Hills with my husband and 3 children.
Fitness is a big part of my life and I truly believe it should be a part of everyones life in some shape or form. There is nothing more powerful than the effect of exercise on not only your physical but mental state!
I love nothing more than inspiring people to move well and showing them what their amazing bodies are capable of achieving which is always so much more than they ever believe.
Throughout my life I have always been involved in sport of some sort. However, I feel my true love of fitness started in my teens after spending countless hours both in the group fitness room and weights room, in my local Murray Bridge gym owned by my rowing coach at the time.
My love of group fitness grew and whilst employed Full time in another area, I studied my Certificate 3 in Fitness at Tafe and soon after, commenced teaching all things Body Pump and RPM in the group fitness room of my local gym.
I loved putting people through their paces and giving them the best hour of their day. While I found this rewarding I wanted to do something more for myself. I went back to study and gained my Certificate 4 in Fitness specialising in Personal Training and started up a “bootcamp” at my local oval and branded as H-FIT.
A hills change saw us move to the Adelaide Hills and in 2012 I started up the hills version of H-FIT. I never went back to my other full time employment.
My love and passion for training others grew. My style and inspiration for training has changed a lot over the years but it comes from a love of running, cross training, crossfit, varied body weight movement, and anything I can get done with minimal equipment. I’ve learnt over the years that an effective workout can be done in 20 minutes.
Keen to increase my depth of knowledge, I am currently studying a degree in Human Movement at Uni SA, and hope that I will be able to put this knowledge to use in another area of health and fitness in the future!
